"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

From JudgeCMC hike. We got Judge first from the Squaw Pass Road, then followed the ridge to Hicks. Partly cloudy and a little cool in the forest, but we did not have the crazy weather that's been going on lately. We returned via the old logging roadbed.

From Hwy 103This was a great way to get out and stretch the legs on a positively gorgeous Christmas Eve. The air temp was not too hot, not too cold, and there was abundant fresh powder. The views were gonzo. Not much NOT to like!
