Totally defeated by government red-tape. The top of the hill was roped off for "environmental" reasons. Settled for stunning views one level below the top.
PRO TIP: Go early morning for great photos and no crowds.

Marin Peakbagging
After visiting Mt. Livermore in the AM came over here. Not a huge fan of Marin but those views are tough to beat.
There is a cement slab left over from a military installation, with a railing, that makes a great place to sit, hang your feet, take pictures & enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Been here many times, and brought many people here, including family from Guatemala; everybody loves the view.

Fogged in...Camping at Kirby Cove, hike up from there to the top, which was totally fogged in. No view, but still an enjoyable hike.

Walked from south end of the Golden GateBridge-side was socked in, so a return trip is on my list. Got horribly sunburned through the fog...

Great ViewsDrove to the top with my family, vacationing in California, when I was a kid. I think that this was the first mountain I ever went to the top of.
