Middle of nowhere
Richard Carey and I had car camped near the trailhead for Seven Troughs peak and then made our way over to Hanna Spring which served as our trailhead for this one. It was a steep 1.5 miles to the summit with nothing difficult. A short class 3 spot was to gain the summit was the only spot where I had to use hands and feet. Great views from the summit and we noted a road coming up close on the west side. A bit over 1700 feet of elevation gain and we spotted two nice bucks running away from us as we were about mid mountain.
