Gunk Rock... a Playground

The chimney to the left is "Easy Keyhole" -- 5.2. The route shown is "Black Fly" -- 5.5. The routes, overall, seemed steep for their grade and tons of fun. There are literally thousands of routes, just minutes from the road. All the climbing is on private property and a fee is required. As of 2006, the fee is $15/person/day unless you have a season pass. (Pretty steep if you ask me!) With the huge quantity of quality routes so accessible, access is of particular concern and importance. Please tread lightly.
