Sounds Familiar

This sounds like #87 in Clint Cummin's guide to Index, the twin cracks. The approach also sounds familiar. I just dont remember as a three pitch climb though. We set up a belay then climbed two parallel cracks, one 5.6 and one 5.7.

It was a great deal of fun!

Re: Sounds Familiar

Thanks for checking out the page. Yes, this is "Twin Cracks" as per the Cummins guide. You probably did the second pitch only. The 5.6 handcrack next to it is Pisces, which is really fun.

Thanks!

It has been so long since I've been there; I remember climbing two different cracks, so perhaps we did the second pitch and Pisces. I do know that the way we got on to the ledge was hard - a short corner. My hands were bloody by the time I got up. I was later told that normally there was a ladder. I didn't know if I should take that seriously or not. I still don't. :-)
