Very prettypicture. Tanya and I hiked SK last march! We then spent 11 days floating and hiking on the Colorado.

Re: Very prettyI have floated from Lees Ferry to Phantom twice and this last March Tanya and I hiked in on SK to Phantom and spent 11 days floating the next 100 miles to Whitmore, where we hiked out. We were pretty lucky, as I have several friends that guide on commercial trips, but sometimes I get invited on their private trips. A commercial trip can be pretty pricey, but worth every penny spent. If ever you decide to take a trip and have plenty of time...take a rowing trip or Dory trip. If not then the motor trips are much shorter for those that just don't have the time off!

but I know exactly what Mister Bo is talking
about.
I saw some boaters (kayaks) floating down AZ's Verde River the other day. I was standing (along) the banks, and they WENT by like I wasn't even there - I know (for a fact) they were in "some kind of Heaven!"
