My friend left my to go to the summit by myself - it was sketchier and steeper than it looked, with a few pretty exposed sections, especially when meeting others coming the other way.
Nice hike from respomuso, great views, and a long return back to sallent de gallego.

Normal desde Respumoso
Just a patch of snow before the col. Weather superb. Met up with a large group of French folk who dominated the summit. I took their group foto, but I don't have one of me (or of any of the route). My ex- has the fotos (I hope).
The scrambly bit from the col was great fun, but not so fun when you meet someone coming in the opposite direction.
We dawdled down and picknicked near the lakes. Good day.

Snow in August
I turned back at an altitude of 2800 meters. It was already snowing and I didn't feel like a descent on a wet ridge... A cold and cloudy day.
Route Climbed: La Sarra-Respumoso Date Climbed: Sept 3, 2005
Spectacullar mountain and landscape in a great day. Unfortunately my friends did not accompany me in this climb but I've climbed in solitary (I found several friendly people in the climb that they did company to me). 5h 30 min from La Sarra to summit and some of rain in the descent (total 10h).
