Route Climbed: Mnimata Date Climbed: November 23-29, 2002
In a party of 12 from my local club, we parked our cars at Mnimata and ascended to the refuge. Next morning we returned from the same route. From the saddle below the peak (called Diasela), 6 of us climbed the peak & returne to join the others on the way back.

Ascended with a group of 24 from my local club. Before descenting towards the refuge we had a go at the peak. Pecause of the fact that the slope was quite iced up and most members of the party inexperienced (one had a huge slide, fortunately ending on a flat spot) we decided to turn back, some 200m short of the peak. We spent a night in the refuge and continued our crossing through Rekka to Viniani
