Galicica (2287m) massif...

Galicica (2287m) massif separates Ohridsko Ezero (693m) (Ohrid Lake) from Prespansko Ezero (850m) (Prespa Lake). Over it and Livada pass (1568m) panoramic mountain road connects both lakes. This is the view from the pass upon the Ohrid Lake, whose surface is almost 1000m lower. Below the person on the right are tiny houses in Trpejca village on the shore. Ohrid is one of the oldest lakes on the planet! Read more about the lake of living fossils on the main page. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic
