24 switchbacks above Mystic Lake brings you to a wonderful world
North of Froze to Death summit is an over-used camping area that does have flowing water every time I have been there over the last 40 years. The views are great, the hike up from Mystic Lake or Alpine are relatively easy. At the campsite mentioned, to summit Froze2Death Mtn is a short mild hike, so that those seeking a summit can be on-top.
