"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

2nd State HighpointBagged the highpoint in the dark and in the rain. Arrived back to my car soaked and almost got lost in the dark. I won't soon forget this highpoint.

I Took Route Both DirectionsHiking up to the left wasn't very steep, and I enjoyed the rockface and stone border monument. I hiked down the rightside trail. This was the second of seven HPs (plus Washington, D.C.) I would reach in two days' time. HP #26 for me.
SIDE-NOTE: I would like to dispute the "Smallest Church in the Lower 48 States" claim, nearby along Highway 219. I have been to several smaller churches, in the western States. Although, of these, this was definitely the nicest.

Steep? This will get your heart rate going, but as hikes go, I wouldn't call this overly steep.
