When I woke up this morning I went nuts--heavy snow on Four Peaks! Having only lived in Phoenix for 3 years, I thought this was a once-in-a-lifetime occurance. Turns out it's not quite that special. Happens every few years. But hey, at least I saw it and got some unique shots of Four Peaks in the snow. March 12, 2006. (click here for black and white version)

beautiful shot!

I love the large cacti in the foreground and the blanketed white peaks in the background. A beautiful desert southwest photo! Isn't a pleasure to live in the SW!?
