Flowery Trails

Greetings!

Thank God for mountain flora! I can't count how many times these little wonders have brightened up my mountain trails. As I stop and examine these spartans of joy, all my high-altitude toils are quickly forgotten. Shortly, I am back on the trail with renewed bounce in my step.

The great thing about photographing flowers is they can't run away. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite photo subjects, after my kids.

Thank you for taking some time to visit this flower collection I have put together. There are dozens of SPers on this site that can photograph circles around me, and they are very inspiring. This is simply a private album dedicated to what I alone have been able to produce. I hope that through time we will be able to see an improvement in these images.

For those who are interested, these photos are brought to you by a Canon XTi Rebel sporting an EF 50mm 1:1.4 lens. This is my first decent camera and lens, and I hope to expand further into this hobby in the future.
