First snow powdering on Hoher Göll
Looking from the Kehlstein-Mannlgrat ridge to the west flank of Hoher Göll, on a typical October föhn day (2012-10-14). On the Kehlstein, same as in most places in the Berchtesgaden Alps below the 2000-meter-mark, one sees a lot of pine undergrowth, such as in the foreground of this picture.
