Favorite Summit in the Puma Hills
Nice fall hike, started from Packer Gulch TH, over Little Puma, traversed to Farnum, then followed the ridge to Burntop. Great times, lots of kitty tracks. (Puma Hills...who would've thunk it?)

Best summit
Best summit area of the three peaks. Awesome rocks all over.

With Puma, Lil Puma, & Burntop
Farnum has better views than Puma and Lil Puma. It's worth the short side trip. Continued on to Burntop by sidehilling over to Lil Puma's north ridge.

From Little Puma
I enjoyed this summit the best of the three I did on this day which included Puma Peak and Little Puma. Interestingly this peak lacks the 300 foot prominence that many consider as defining a separate mountain.

Great loop. Lots of solitude on a holiday weekend. Just me and the hound.

The extra hump over to Farnum is definitely worth it. Love the rock outcrop and the views. Partners: Husband and three dogs (Lady, Bing & Lela.)
