This is a small crop from a larger picture. I used the “One Step Photo Fix …” in Paint Shop Pro to increase the contrast.

And it has quite a history. Since I read “The White Spider” many years ago it has been my favourite mountain. I feel privileged to have been standing up there.

Conditions vary a lot. In 1996 it was much snow on the Mittellegi.
