SteepTwice, looks easy from down bellow, but once you start going up expect endless battle with large rocks.

Early season snoww/ Stephen Schmid & Blair Seidlitz.
An early start after a cold night made for perfect, hard snow.

UnrelentingLisa Foster's guide describes this route as an "unrelenting" climb, and she's right. We were tired of boulder hopping by the top!

The Lady via the east slopeAssaulted Lady Washington via the east slope. Mostly 2 to 3 foot rocks, which felt solid and was able to hike the most of it, but there were occasional larger boulders that required use of hands as well as feet. Windy!! But what a view from the top.
