Steep and Icy!With no winter gear or tools, I squeezed alongside icy snow on the west side of the chute till till my narrow passageway disappeared. At this point, I found a pointy rock and used it to help me crawl across the snow to dry terrain on the east side. From there I proceeded to the summit of Mallory.
