Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides) in autumn color along the South Loop Trail. Echo Canyon is below. Many other aspens were still green that day. September 2008. Spring Mountains, Nevada.

Thank you for the comment. This tree is actually a survior of a massive 2005 avalanche. There used to be more aspens in this area.
