Dragontail Peak

Dragontail Peak

Taken via telephoto lens from just below Mt Cashmere. I've climbed Aasgard Pass before, but oddly, Dragontail (to me) looks MUCH bigger from farther away.

Right

It really does look considerably bigger from this angle. Great shot.

Landslide slopes

Some years back with two ladies as escort I complained that a big blister prevented me from traversing above the lake to the right, below McLellen Peak. Enduring teasing...stayed put. Half hour later the biggest landslide I'd ever witnessed came down exactly where we would have been on the right...surely killing all three of us.
Moral of the story...I'm telling you about it...
