My son-in-law (native South African) led us on this hike/climb a few days before his marriage to my daughter in 2015. I was the oldest and slowest in the group (64 at the time), but it was a fantastic experience. I loved the scrambling parts. There were a couple ladders near the end, which Thomas had to carry his (large) dog up. The scenery is fantastic. Highly recommended trail and a good alternate to the heavily-traveled Platteklip Gorge trail--no people and a a totally different experience.
