Fantastic......shot, excelent composition.I like specially the shapes of the ice, it remenber me the pics of Cerro Torre.

thank you!I get lucky sometimes. I'm an extremely amateur photographer but it's hard to mess it up with scenery like that.

Riming on the Pearly GatesThat's amazing riming ;does the volcano cause this , or is it normal in thes parts. We get riming in the UK too , but not as good as this eg. http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.php?object_id=192458&context_id=192381

I believethat it's caused by the wind. We get some pretty beautiful examples of it round these parts. Someone already has an album started here: http://www.summitpost.org/album/188275/rime.html which I will add some pics to.
