Check with the Walter Harper Ranger Station for max team size allowed but to me the best size is 4 people. 2 is too risky as if one guy can't make it he takes away the opportunity from his teammate. 3 of our 4 on our team summited while the fourth waited at Basin Camp (14K) - if we only had two we would have had to turn around without summiting. I'd say 3 is min, 4 is optimum and for me 6 would be the max.
