Trench!  Sucess!

Climbed Culebra with a crew of about 17 peeps from 14ers.com. The Cielo Vista Ranch is transitioning management. Said we weren't allowed to climb Red Mountain as their "expert says it is unsafe". We were the first crew up this winter and had some epic trenching to gain Culebra's slopes.

Most boring 14er  Sucess!

Until now, I'd have difficulties to decide which of my climbed 14ers was the worst. Now I am sure, it was Culebra. Borigh grass slope, the entire range looks like hills, the only excuse to pay 100 $ to a millionaire that owns it is when you are on the list and "need" to hike all 14ers. Otherwise, save your money and go ENYWHERE ELSE.

Like a bad half joke  Sucess!

It would have been easier to poke fun at our own idiocy of paying $100 ea to climb an easy 14er, if not for the mandated 7 am late start that put us in the path of a lightneing storm along the ridge retreat. Scariest 14er experience to date.

Snake  Sucess!

Hundred dollars mountain! Long drive from Denver, overall nice hike, Carols at ranch was very nice. Drove to Four Way and hike from there, bit a windy day but sunny and blue sky!

My Last One!  Sucess!

Forked over the $100 to climb my final 14er! It was worth it! Hung out on the summit for a looong time under clear skies and celebrated with a nice group of people from around the country. Tagged Red Mtn too.

Roach's route and Red Mt.  Sucess!

Fun hike with blue sky on the way up, but experienced poor visibility and hail/rain on the way down. I traversed over from Red Mt. to skip the climb back up Culebra, but not sure if that saved me any time.

Standard Ranch Route with Red  Sucess!

The weather was simply horrendous, with the clouds rolling in at 10:00 AM. Made it to Culebra & Red, though. Enjoyed the critters everywhere, but did not find the "untracked wilderness" promised by Fourteeners Initiative. Still an interesting experience.

Pristine  Sucess!

With Tim and Jim, what a strange start to climbing a 14er, but absolutely worthe the process and price. Paid the extra for Red Mtn as well!

Interesting  Sucess!

This is a really strange ritual to go through to climb a 14er. Glad to have the opportunity though. With Jim and Eric, very pristine area.

Top 100 Lower-48 Prominence  Sucess!

Climbed this one with Edward Earl, Andy Martin, and others. It's on my current highest-priority list -- the 100 most prominent peaks in the lower 48.
