Crossing the 'Bowling Alley'....
Crossing the 'Bowling Alley'. The couloir (bowling alley) is almost totally snowfree now, but still dangerous due to falling rocks kicked down by climbers on the ridge on the other side of the couloir.
When there is snow you can use a steel cable to secure yourslef (not in the picture, lower) but now the advice is to run/scramble as fast as possible across the danger zone.
