Cottonwood Lake TH
I left Tri Cities, WA at 5am and bagged twelvemile peak and this one, then drove back to Chickihominy Reservoir near Burns to camp all in one day. Once again, my weekend felt like more of a driving weekend than hiking weekend. Anyway, this was a nice hike, especially in May when everything is green and the flowers are out.

Cottonwood Meadow Lake Route
Nice morning hike. The road quickly became snow covered as we hiked up from the campground. Nice views from the old fire lookout site on the summit.

Extra length
The boys and I started from the 'official' trailhead at Cottonwood Meadow Lake. If you continue driving around the lake to the northeast there is a campground you can start at (go through the road barrier) which avoids the first mile of not interesting trail.
