Castle and Conudrum via the Conundrum Couloir
Left the bridge at 6am and got to the summit of Conundrum Peak by 10:15am. There was snow down to about 12k, maybe a little lower. The traverse to Castle was easy (a little hard in ski boots). I was hoping to ski off the summit of Castle, but we were two weeks late..bleh. So I skied the Castle headwall and got about 2k vert on the descent. I had hoped to ski the Conundrum Couloir but the couloir was all runneled out

Nice Snow
Nice couloir with the usual warnings of "Climb before the snow melts and watch out for rockfall."

With Castle
A shorter couloir than I expected, but had good snow conditions. Continued on over to Castle. Didn't know it at the time, but later found out I had passed Trista and Ryan of the Bachelorette show while descending Castle's standard route. Maybe I should spend more time watching tv.

Fun Ski
Climbed and skied this route from the summit of Conudrum in June, 09. A short, steep, fun line which stays in late into the spring.

Great Snow!
Fun and exciting! Cool cornice at the top. Experienced the best snow conditions I've ever climbed in.

Good clean fun
Great conditions. Steep across the rock band but still snowy. Quick and easy.

conundrum couloir
Climbed the couloir on a beautiful saturday. The snow was nice and firm with one steeper section at the choke which was holding ice.
