Cobb Peak

Cobb Peak

The yellow line indicates our path upward and as you can see, once we top the ridge, it disappears for awhile. We had a dead end or two before we found the best way up but it is so easy to chart a course from a distance and then what you thought worked, doesn't. I give credit to my fellow SP member Mike for keeping dead ends to a minimum. 4-30-09

Dead ends

Dead ends are part of the fun as long as an alternate route can be found and not too much time is wasted. I love route-finding in terrain like this.
