Climbing on the SW Ridge of...
Climbing on the SW Ridge of Mount Aspiring with Misha Tselman. We are simul-climbing with a full rope-length between us, using pickets as protection. We climbed in this manner up to the rock band below the summit (crux), where we pitched 3 rope-lengths to the summit. This photo was taken by Marcel Geelen and his girlfriend Jac (of Melbourne) on their way back to French Ridge hut.
