Good Job!

Congrats on both the informative trip report and on reaching your goal. As someone who recently climbed the DC route (June 12th thru 14th) with two avid cyclists (I will forward them the link to your trip report), your report was especially interesting. Additional congratulations on the pending birth of your first child! Hope all goes well for mother and baby!

Encouraging!

Thanks for the detailed account of your S2S trip! I am planning a similar trip this summer, biking from Federal Way to Paradise, then making a summit bid from Muir... except we are planning to do it all in a long weekend. One day seems crazy--nice work!! Have you attempted this again or any other similar bike/climbing trips since 2012?

Absolutely fantastic!

You have both my congratulations and my envy! Seriously, this has to be an epic in the annals of Mt. Rainier climbing lore. I will check in Mike Gaulthier's guide book for a mention. I climbed Rainier twice and spent a summer studying/living at Pack Forest near the hamlet of La Grande which you evidently passed on the bike portion. I can relate to some degree with your accomplishment, but never put the two domains together like you and Mattl did. Well done!
