A special place in my heart for this beginner's peak. It was not only my first summit, but also my first significant backpacking. I was thirteen. We used Hetch Hetchy as our trailhead; via Beehive, Vernon, Wilmer, and return. An excellent non-technical intro.

Climbed the north gully from Tilden Lake on our rest day during an 8 day trip in Yosemite. It's a fun, easy climb on mostly good rock/boulders. We had great weather and very nice views from the summit.
