Charles (head guide) and Yehuda at the base of the Lava Tower (15,220 feet at the base) on January 14, 2002. We were lucky enough to have snow on Day 3 of our trek. There is a Lava Tower Camp as well as a Lava Tower Hut though on this day we didn't see the hut or any tents here though there were a number of tents at Fisher Camp. All of the people in the back of the photo went from here down to Barranco while the three of us headed upwards east towards Arrow Glacier Hut.
