Hiked from the south following the ridge to the summit. I wasn't paying attention and climbed all the way to the top of Peak 1,896m rather than contouring low around the west side. I corrected that on the way back and it was much easier. The semi-recent fire made brush a non-issue on the route.

ChanchelullaBeautiful hike. Hiked out of the Midas Gap area. Trail disappears in areas but the peak is easy enough to find.
