Scott, thanks for the comments. The NE Ridge definitely can be called "committing", eh? Did you guys take any more photos up there? I've only seen like 3 from your climb.
Scotty-Just saw your comment from may. WRT your question on pics--I was too weak to carry any extra weight, so I didn't haul a camera. But Pavel (Kovarpa) and Kris did--they snapped a bunch and sent me a few of the better ones. They must have really high standards, because they didn't post very many.
I notice that the photo of Barry 'dayhiking the NE ridge' was taken from almost exactly the same spot as the one that Pavel took of Kris and me. Sadly for us, compared to your photo, the shadows have grown long in our photo. I'm still very impressed by your speed! Incidentally, the next afternoon, as we dropped into the Williamson Basin, Pavel sucked up another bivy (foodless) so that he could run up Tyndall solo the next day. Kris and I just stumbled down Shepherd Pass to the cars!
You should get them to "okay" a few more, as the route is sadly lacking good photography. The only reason we were fast is because we were carrying next to nothing.....that night walk down the last switchbacks sucks, huh?

DUDE...Really impressive effort. That is a long, hard climb. Tremendous! You are down for some righteous pride in your accomplishment!
