Remark on Going to the Top

We had a great time summitting Mescalito via Cat in the Hat, which was good, as we had only one rope. Like the Urioste guide says, it is third and fourth class to the top, except for the last pitch, which is exciting 5.7 giving a short squeezy chimney and a rather exiting bridge action through some really sick looking but proably stable giant blocks. The descent by walking is a real adventure; keep to the leftish while going up to the next summit and then make sure you catch the row of cairns down the ramps angling down to the left from the ridge after the second summit.
