1st time at Roxborough. Great run!
Really cool area. Struggled to keep my HR down...likely still not fully recovered from Saturday’s race. 45 hours to get there before the next one!

Great Spring Summit
My wife and I wanted a nice, low, snow-free hike and settled on Carpenter in Roxborough. Great views of the south Denver metro area. Really easy and fun eight miler if you do the whole loop.

Carpenter Peak Trail
A great hike with my wife. We summited via the Carpenter Peak Trail and returned via the Powerline and Elk Valley Trails. A beautiful fall day with nice fall colors.

Another nice conditioning hike for Denver locals that I've done several times. Especially good for early season, in spite of the possibility of mud.

Carpenter Peak Trail
Hiked this numerous times. There is a summit that the trail bypasses that actually is 7,205 feet which is higher than the named summit. Probably only for diehards who wish to hit the actually highpoint. It has scrub oak all over it and the view isn't as good as the peak itself.

Carpenter Peak Trail
Warm April temperatures (nearly 60 degress F) and a September-blue sky combined to make this one wonderful outing. Good friends for hiking partners, warm sunshined, wide-open views. The trail was insanely muddy, but that only added to the fun. Hiking partners: Jana & Donna.
