Thanks Mathias. Yes I think you should do the Höhenweg but I would propose to post it to the Carnic Alps page since it covers the eastern part of the ridge as well. I know that you haven't hiked in the east but I suppose you could let yourself be inspired by some of the guidebooks. Perhaps someone will come along who has hiked that part and he could help out.

Thanks Marco! You see that I've been busy so I couldn't keep my promise for Peralba and Coglians. But sometime soon .....

What, are you under doctor's orders? A mountain page a week and your ulcers will clear right up.

Edit: I think you've set the record for longest scrolling Main Page.

Also, your multi-colored map reminds me of something like this:

Hehe, but you're wrong! I have put up some long scrolling pages before (and "promise" to do so again) but the honour goes to Johan. Lookee here!. But don't do it on a modem connection!

Thanks!

Thanks Dan! The great thing about the region is that it is as remote as it can get in the Alps. In September you have the ridges and summits all to yourself. Wait until I post some of the major summits of the group ;-)
