Broads Fork upper meadow at...

Broads Fork upper meadow at 9,600 ft. with Dromedary and Sunrise Peak in the distance. Our camp was calm and enjoyable except for a brief thunderstorm just south of us around 1am. Admittedly the thunderstorm made us nervous, but it ended up being one of those "in the right place at the right time" moments. We had no rain, yet some of the most humbling claps of thunder exploded and echoed throughout the mountains. Quite a thrill. Aug 2004.
