bravo! It's always the person in the safe position who is more scared of the exposure, of course. Edi looks very comfortable leaning, and you took a great shot -- "no hands".

Re: bravo!Thank you very much for your kind comment. Edi is of course a professional!

My favorite couples shot, I keep coming back to it..I have to point out that Karen actually looks quite relaxed (look at her hand) but for that, er, "wife look." I get that a lot...
You guys are lucky.

Re: My favorite couples shot, I keep coming back to it..Thank you for the comment, glad to hear that you like the photo so much. I agree that Karen's hand shows that she is not afraid for herself, and the look that she doesn't quite approve of what I am doing. The "wife look" is probably genetically programmed in women;-)

71 year old climbers! You two are an inspiration to all of us nature lovers.

Re: 71 year old climbers!Thank you. This climb actually took place four years ago, as described in our trip report, and we havent't done anything quite as adventurous since then. But we have been in the Dolomites every year, and have done some easier ferratas (without a guide).

Still Going StrongEven though it's 4 years ago, you're still going strong!! Bravo!!
I got the "wife look" from an old friend when I was in Barcelona at an edge of an urban cliff.

Re: Still Going StrongThank you for the comment. Yes, we do try to continue our mountain activities, but at our age four years is a long time, and I don't think we could repeat the Mèsola climb again
