Sahale Peak on July 29, 2000. The shape of the summit tower always makes me think of a solidified slag heap that might form as you pour from a cauldron above. You can see the state of the South Ridge traverse to get over to it from the Boston-Sahale Col.
Jack Mountain is at left. And to the right of Jack way out on the horizon is Castle Peak close to the Canadian border.
