Re: How well I remember...Thanks Bob, it was the highlight of the actual hiking aspect. The first 600 feet just went zip. Towards the bottom you couldn't plunge step but it still was easier than what was to come (all that downed timber)

Re: How well I remember...Dean, that was the scree basin I was referring to when you asked me for beta. True, it is easy to descend, but can you imagine slogging up it? I got to plunge it with a fresh dusting of hail (my picture).

Re: How well I remember...Great story on that pic Paul. Interestingly enough, a Twisp resident informed me that yesterday the Gardners were covered in storm clouds with thunder and lightning. Looks like Dennis and I picked the right day.
