There was about 15cm's, thankfully there was little wind so it did not drift, but it was still enough to stop most of our public transport system and many schools were closed. Temperature wise it has been quite warm hovering just above freezing during the day and about minus 3 at night so into the freeze thaw cycle making the roads and paths treacherous.
I lived in London for about 18 years and can recall it snowing on 2 occasions! Judging by the date though this was a day after I left following a brief visit and I was probably lucky to get out when I did!
