Great trip report, Kevin. Those rock formations remind me of the Goblin Valley area, near Hanksville,Ut. Nice stuff. Great pictures as always.

I can't quite put my finger on it as to why, but somehow I can relate to that postholing venture.

Almost went there this past weekend myself - for the same reasons yall did. We went up to Glacier Gorge in the Park instead though. Planning to hit up this place a little later this spring though when it won't be quite so challenging to travel!
