Bernard I. NegrinYour camera focused on the forgroung only. Set your camera on manual focus and set it for infinity at a slower shutter speed and higher f-stop (>f11).

Re: Bernard I. Negrinthanks for the pointer but i was going for the focus on the bear grass and the background being blurry, i will keep this in mind for future pics tho. Thanks again and happy hikin.

Bernard I. NegrinIf you follow my previous instructions, everything will fit into the depth of field zone and remain in focus.
Might I recommend cropping the beargrass so that you will only have the plant and surrounding background.
I do take my photography seriously.
