Shirley topping out on pitch 11 of Backbone Ridge (IV+ 5.9). This is the first pitch on The Fin. Beautiful Colchuck Lake is far below and provides a "blue screen" background (July 22, 2006).

Nice to have that "blue screen" background. This way, you can superimpose some kind of exciting scene of mountains behind Shirley...instead of a boring ol' lake. ;-D.
