Hey Radek, do you guys ever lead pitches in blocks, or do you usually alternate? In the last 5 or so years, my partner and I have found this to be a more enjoyable way to climb - especially when it's cold (e.g. ice climbing), as you are at the belay for half the time. Also, it's easier to break the climb up to suit each others strengths or weaknesses. Flipping the rope over is a minor inconvenience if you manage it well. Cheers!
Hi Aaron - thank you for the read & the kind word. We've done the block thing a couple of times esp. where as you mention it was clear that one was stronger on a given pitch than the other (wide crack for me, face edging for Shirley :) ...this route was sorta similar climbing pitch after pitch though (other than 1 crux pitch).
