Just Aubineau from Bear Jaw
Hiked from Bear Jaw, because Inner Basin was closed. A deer hit my car on this trip, which was unfortunate. There was a layer of frozen hail on the higher slopes.

Lovely Fall Conditions
With mstender and azpeavy. Cool and windy at first, but then things settled down. Beautiful blue skies, fall colors everywhere.

Great fall colors
We hiked up Abineau Canyon trail and then up the slopes to the saddle between Abineau and Peak 11783. We went across the ridge to Rees and then down the slopes to take Bear Jaw Canyon trail back to the trailhead. The fall colors were awesome everywhere and the views outstanding. Great hike!

Awesome Fall Outing
Did Rees, Abineau, Bearjaw, and Humphreys from Lockette Meadow. Started at 8:15am. I got to the top of Rees 1.3hrs later, I summitted Humphreys at 11:25am. I got back down to Lockette meadow via the Weatherford Trail-Inner Basin Trail in less then 2hrs. Total round trip time was 5:03. Awesome fall colors! The bristlecone pines in Abineau are awesome!! and the views of the Inner Basin are drop dead!

Route: My own
Climbed both peak as part of a three peaks climb. I started from Lockett Meadow and climbed striaght up the south slope of Rees Peak. Very steep, bouldery, forested, and snow covered above 10,000 feet. I then headed to Aubineau Peak via the ridge between the two. I climbed the east facing slope of Aubineau which is steep, very bouldery and covered in a few inches of snow. After this I summitted Humphreys Peak.
