At 3 Brothers

Between Rudolfstein summit and the Schneeberg there are the remarkable rock formations called 3 Brothers - here the middle one, which has 3 interesting climbing routes from UIAA II to V. Notice the dense forest of tall spruce trees, here in the early 70ies. 10 years later all 3 brothers stood almost completely free probably due to the "Waldsterben" (forest dying) which was attributed to an increased acid rain. Now the trees have recovered.
