Alpspitze seen from...

Alpspitze seen from Northeast. This mountain is one end of the 'Jubiläumsgrat'. On top the Route is hidden by the right ridge, the lower part is the rocky slope on the right front, leading to the Osterfelder Cable Cabin. This lower part (of the Alpspitze north face) sometimes even is skiied. I cannot recommend this - we had to rescue a near dead guy there. I don't know when I shot the photo. Must have been around 1985 while beeing on duty with the German Mountain Rescue Service there.
