Oh yes, no doubt about it: Food!

This high on the 1st Sella Tower, minutes away from the top, which is rather small. At this particular point, several climbing routes come together, including the normal route, which, though with one short section of grade III, is often descended without using a rope. That's why most climbers stow away their rope and gear and have a short brake at the same time.

With this regular supply of people having a break, the choughs know that there will be something to eat. Even if nobody feeds them some bread crumbs, there are bound to be scraps.
